King Cole are bringing out wonderfully fantastic luxury yarns, the KC Collection.

 

Mulberry Soft DK is the perfect indulgent mix of the highest quality mulberry silk and baby alpaca. This creates a sumptuously soft superfine yarn from Peru. This perfect combination gives a beautiful lustre and softness to this new King Cole yarn.

Overwhelming Support for Ukraine

 

This is SOME of the donations Manx Support Refugees has received. Many, many thanks to all of you wonderful people who have brought in warm clothing, shoes, blankets, toiletries and baby milk. In the face of hatred and war, it is utterly fantastic to see kindness and compassion. Thank you.

The donations have been overwhelming, and we have had to stop the collection. Our charity partners in Poland and Ukraine have now asked for money to be sent instead.

We are supporting the refugee crisis. We are collecting items for Manx Support Refugees who are working with other charities to send much needed aid to Ukraine, Poland and Romania. All clothes & footwear needs to be in a good, clean state, suitable for use. Nappies, baby wipes, baby milk, and hygiene products need to be new and unopened.

If you can help, drop off the items at Joan’s Wools and Crafts, or one of the other collections centres, by this Friday.

Put your best foot forward - 

learn about sewing machine feet and how to use them

Marina will explain the uses of many different sewing machine feet, and show how to use them.

The talk/demo will be given this Saturday (26th Feb) and repeated on the 5th of March. It starts at 9.30am and will last approximately one hour. Numbers will be limited to 4 to people to see clearly. The cost is £10.
